The Future of the Rotaract Clubs

In this issue, I’ve decided to look into the future through a crystal ball, aided by noted astrologist and showbiz gossip queen, Aling Auring. So join me now as I present my look at the world of tomorrow, or the day after tomorrow, or the day after next Monday.

  • In the future, the Rotaract will become some sort of a country club and mere membership will cost somewhere between P1000-5000/month, and today’s members will become nostalgic and say, “I can remember when membership fee only costs P50/year.”

Rotaract’s CANNED Excuses

Since RAC is a voluntary club, you can’t be coerced to attend something or fish out a project. But if some melodramatic hypocrite asks you why you can’t & didn’t come, here are some ready-made excuses:

  1. I forgot
  2. I didn’t know you were in a hurry for it.
  3. That’s not my job.
  4. No one told me to go ahead.
  5. I’m waiting for an OK.
